A private sightseeing tour in 'Hop-on, Hop off' style
Would you like to know Budapest as the local people see it? Not on a bus full of tourists listening to the same recorded text, but on a tour presented by your private tourist guide using the local public transport?
Our version offers you all this: traveling by public transport (and sometimes on foot), we get to know not only the well-known attractions, but many small insider specialities and also entering some buildings. You will get tips on what to do on your own way after the sightseeing, where to eat well, where to go out during the evenings and what the tourist traps are which should be avoided during your stay.
Of course we don’t get on a ’Hop-on, Hop off’ tourist bus, but we will use the same methods of public transport (bus, tram, metro) during the tour that the locals use every day.
The so-called ’TourGuide’ device will be very useful during the tour: our guests can hear through the headphones each word of the guide – even if somebody is a little away from the group to prepare a couple of photos or if the group is traveling on the tram towards the next attraction.
Your private tourist guide in Budapest
Welcome to Budapest!
We are Erna and Erika, official tourist guides of Hungary. We were born here in the capital and we love Budapest very much. We are flexible persons and we prefer the private tours because we can show you not only the well-known monuments but also the hidden corners and interesting attractions. We would be happy to speak to you about history, everyday life, communist heritage, religions and culture.
Erna has been working as a licensed tourist guide for a long time. She has university degree (University of Tourism and Economy). She has a family with a daughter and cats. She loves animals, nature and peace. She works together with her best friend Erika, who is also a licensed guide with experience and university degree. She also has a family with a small son. She loves gastronomy and culture.
We have been working together for a long time forming a good and efficient team. We believe that we can help you to know our city and have a pleasant day together.
